The Curse of Seewiif Strand

"Life for Life." The words ring between us like a promise. Like a curse.

When Rinus's former love interest hauls an otherworldly creature from the sea, their lives are irrevocably changed. All too soon they face the consequences of catching a seewiif: a rising sea and hungry, bloody vengeance. Rinus must choose between protecting himself or saving the man and village that he wishes accepted him. 

"The Curse of Seewiff Strand," is a short story inspired by my Frisian heritage. Originally published in We Bite Back, a queer horror charity anthology from Pride With a Bite.
